Barbara Langendijk may not be known very well yet, but I'm convinced that this collection is going to wow. The new collection was inspired by a long trip Barbara to Japan. The culture, music, fashion, garments and people inspired her. The designer tries to avoid the conservative way of designing and working, and tests different options to achieve the same effect. For instance, this collection she used a roll-off system to create texture and volume in the clothes. The earth colors shocked by red make her collection accessible to a wide range costumers. Long skirts, nipple-free tops and bare backs are key words for the collection. The young designer absolutely achieved her goals.
